On August 20th, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the Joint R&D Center for Pharmaceutical Innovation between Jiuhua Huayuan Pharmaceutical and Wannan Medical College was held at Wannan Medical College. Ms. Guan Yueqin, Chairman of Jiuhua, accompanied the company's executive team to attend the ceremony and held a meeting with Xia Jinsong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wannan Medical College, before the ceremony, to reach a consensus on deepening cooperation between the two sides around pharmaceutical innovation.
The Joint Research and Development Center for Pharmaceutical Innovation aims to integrate and enhance the drug research and development capabilities of both parties through complementary advantages and cooperation, promote the transformation of research and development achievements, and cultivate a group of outstanding talents. The project cooperation covers the entire pharmaceutical chain research, including teaching and research, product development, talent cultivation, and technology project application.
Yao Yingshui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Wannan Medical College, attended the ceremony. Han Yongsheng, Vice President, presided over the meeting. Officials from the School's Research Department, Alumni Work Office, School of Pharmacy, First Affiliated Hospital, and Second Affiliated Hospital also attended the ceremony. Dean Yao Yingshui delivered a speech expressing sincere gratitude to Jiuhua Huayuan Pharmaceutical for their consistent support in teaching and research, talent cultivation, and achievement transformation for Anhui Medical. He also put forward requirements for the project work to consolidate the foundation, strengthen management, integrate industry and education, and condense achievements. He hopes that through deep cooperation between schools and enterprises, a demonstration driven and replicable experience can be formed.
The Chairman of Jiuhua Huayuan Pharmaceutical, Guan Yueqin, accompanied by company executives, attended the ceremony and introduced Jiuhua's founding history, corporate culture, business situation, and future development plans to the leaders of her alma mater. She expressed that it is a great honor to be able to apply what she has learned and give back to her alma mater. As a medical student and a member of the pharmaceutical industry, Jiuhua and herself always remember the original intention of "serving human health and making contributions", adhere to technological innovation, and explore the development path of the pharmaceutical industry.
She has high hopes for the project and hopes to build a national innovation platform through in-depth cooperation, injecting new vitality into the company and alma mater, and jointly promoting the development of the national pharmaceutical industry.
The establishment of the Jiuhua Huayuan Pharmaceutical Wannan Medical College Pharmaceutical Innovation Joint R&D Center has opened up a new paradigm of cooperation between pharmaceutical companies and national key medical colleges.
